Nepali karate players from Badorio have won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the 9th International Karate Competition held in Visakhapatnam, India.

Diya Pahari, Bishan Thapa Magar and Rijan Budha Magar won gold medals in the competition. Shishir Thapa Magar and Shwetara Gurung won silver. Shwetara won bronze in kata. Another bronze was won by Raju Budhathoki.

Sagar Kafle played the role of judge in the team led by Nepal Badorio Karate Do Association's head coach Harisharan KC.

The medal-winning players were welcomed by association member Rajkumar Karki and other coaches and players at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday.
