Banke and Bardiya won the Prime Minister's Cup Extreme Energy Drink Lumbini Provincial Level Men's One-Day Selection Tournament being held in Rupandehi on Wednesday.

Bardiya defeated Palpa by 107 runs at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa and Banke defeated West Nawalparasi by 6 wickets at the Extratech Oval in Tilottama. 

Bardiya, who were invited to bat after losing the toss, managed to score 247 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 39 overs. Bardiya's Keshav Bista scored an unbeaten 94 and Sumit Shrestha scored 66 runs. Harshal Bhandari scored 30 and Nitesh Neupane scored 14 runs. Palpa's Keshav Parai, Nar Bahadur Sarki, Rupesh Basyal and Thaneshwor Bhattarai took 1 wicket each.

In reply, Palpa was bowled out for 140 runs in 35 overs and 2 balls. Palpa's Nar Bahadur Sarki scored 44, Rupesh Basyal scored 15 and Kushal Dhakal scored 14 runs. Bardiya's Nirmal Gurung took 3 and Nikhil Khatri took 2 wickets. In the next match, Nawalparasi, who batted first, scored 167 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 29 overs. Nawalparasi's Ranjit Kumar Khatri scored 54, Samrat Bhusal scored 39, Dros Sunar scored 36 not out and Jitendra Kewat scored 14 runs. Banke's Salauddin Khan took 3 wickets, Lavkush Yadav took 2 wickets and Siddhantraj Shahi took 1 wicket.

In reply, Banke scored 168 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 25 overs and 1 ball. Banke's Mohammad Sadab Ansari scored 74 not out and Salauddin Khan scored 63 not out. Nawalparasi's Rajendra Kumar Bam and Jitendra Kewat took 2 wickets each.
