Despite growing up in a remote area, he has run a sports academy in Hattivan, Lalitpur. His elder brother is a gold medalist boxer. He said that he got into the sports field due to his elder brother's inspiration. He had taken karate training from school and was determined to become a player. Therefore, after reaching Kathmandu for higher education, he started learning taekwondo along with his studies.

He won a gold medal in the martial arts competition held in Lalitpur in 2015. He said that he won a bronze medal in the 5th Heroes International Taekwondo Competition held in Thailand in 2019 and a silver medal in the 27th Asian Cities Taekwondo Competition held in Hong Kong in 2023.

He said that he won a gold medal in the Bangabandhu Open International Taekwondo Championship held in Bangladesh in 2023 and the Prime Minister's Cup Taekwondo Championship held in India in 2024. He won a silver medal in the 21st WATA Japan Open Taekwondo Championship held in Osaka, Japan in 2025.

He said that he won a bronze medal in the Kukiwan Cup International Taekwondo Championship held in Nepal in 2025 and a gold medal in the 21st Speed ​​Taekwondo Championship held in Malaysia in 2025.
