Tedha Tigers have won the Gadhimai Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament held in Harpatganj, Birgunj. They defeated Gadhimai Warriors by a wide margin of 54 runs in the final to clinch the title.

Batting first after winning the toss, Tedha Tigers scored 122 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Their Sagar Sah made 27 and Rajan Gupta made a notable contribution of 14 runs.

Among the bowlers of Gadhimai Warriors, Roshan Yadav and Kaif Ali shared two wickets each. Gadhimai Warriors' batsmen, who came out to meet the seemingly easy winning target, could not perform well and Gadhimai Warriors collapsed for 68 runs in 17 overs and 2 balls. Apart from Ranjit Rai who scored 17 and Kaif Ali who scored 11 runs, no one else could score double figures.

Tedha Tigers' bowlers Dilip Sah took three wickets and Aliraj took two wickets. Sagar Sah of Tedha Tigers was declared the 'Man of the Match'. Roshan Yadav of Gadhimai Warriors was declared the ‘Man of the Series’. Sajan Rai of Gadhimai Warriors was declared the best batsman of the tournament and Aliraj of Tedha Tigers was declared the best bowler.

The winner and runner-up were presented with trophies along with Rs 75,000 and Rs 35,000 respectively. Constituent Assembly member Anil Rungta and Sakhuwa Prasauni Rural Municipality Chairman Jaswant Yadav, among others, distributed the prizes.
