In the U-17 boys singles final at the covered hall of the Jock Nakhipot Youth Club on Saturday, Saurya defeated Army's Prateek Bista in straight sets of 11-21, 21-17, 21-11.

In the women's doubles, the pair of Dilasha Rana and Tilmaya Rana of Kaski emerged victorious. The pair defeated the pair of Navina Rai of APF and Nismahangma Subba of the host Nakhipot Youth Club in straight sets of 21-19, 23-21.

In the men's doubles category 'A' final, the pair of Bidhan Adhikari and Praveen Lingthep of the Army defeated the pair of Deepak Rana and Laxman Malla Thakuri of Suryadarshan 21-16, 21-14.

In the men's doubles category 'B', the pair of Bidhan Gurung of Utsav Suppliers Chitwan and John Jasraj of NYC won the gold. The pair defeated Itahari's Sangam Giri and Sandesh Rayamajhi in straight sets of 21-19, 21-16 in the final.

In the veteran men's doubles over 45 years, PFC's Sanjay Kapali and Anil Thamsuhang won the gold by defeating Kaski's Prem Kumar Gurung and Shambhu Shrestha in sets of 21-9, 13-21, 21-12.

The winners were awarded by Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14 President Amritjung Mahat, Nakhipot Badminton Circle President Jayaram Rai, organizer Nakhipot Youth Club President Indrajit Angbuhang Limbu, coordinator Basanta Rai and others. The medal winners of all events received cash prizes.
