Valley Public and Fairyland School have won the girls' division of the second Gyan Sanskar Inter-School Basketball Tournament.

On the court of the host Gyan Sanskar School, Valley Public defeated Kathmandu Valley by a score of 18-11. Valley's Sonimaya Tamang added 9 points. Ferriland defeated NIST by 24-13.

Ferriland's Romika Gautam scored 16 points. Ferriland, which won twice, defeated Tejaswi Academy by 25-17 in the next match. The winner's Sandeepa Rai scored 9 points.

In the girls' category, Canvas Basanta Ritu defeated Kingdom by 25-17, Boudha Children's Haven defeated Prabhaam World by 55-45, NIST defeated TIA by 24-17 and TIA defeated Tejaswi by 21-16.

Canvas' Sayaka Nepali scored 7 points, Boudha Children's Jasmine Gurung scored 16, NIST's Snigda Dahal scored 14 and TIA's Shubhashree scored 8.

In the boys' division, Valley Public defeated Paramount Academy 40-35 and Newton defeated Greenland 38-33. Valley Public's Ryan Sherchan scored 21 and Newton's Sabin Rai scored 16.
