Gandaki Province Volleyball Association and Nepal Police Club will finally face off in the men's title match of the 6th Tiger Cup National and International Invitational Club Volleyball Championship.
The final group stage match of the tournament held on Friday at the volleyball court at Pokhara Stadium was initially announced as Gandaki Province and Parbat District Volleyball Association had advanced to the final after reaching the fifth set. However, after a technical review, the organizers revised their decision after it was confirmed that Nepal Police Club was ahead in the set ratio.
The tournament organizer, Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal, issued a press release on Friday itself, admitting that the initial information regarding the final match was misplaced due to a technical error.
The statement said, 'Due to a technical error while announcing the final match, incorrect information was circulated. We hereby officially inform you that the men's final match to be held on 17th Magh 2082 will be between Gandaki Province Volleyball Association and Nepal Police Club.'

Earlier, Police had scored 10 points from 5 matches. After Gandaki and Parbat, who had tied at 9 points from four games, ended their Friday match 3-2, Gandaki added 2 points to reach 11 points and secured the finals. Parbat added one point to reach 10 and was said to have reached the finals by beating Police on the basis of sets. However, the organizers corrected the mistake after Police claimed that their team reached the finals on the basis of set ratio.
