Jitendra Rai has won the gross title of the 'Chivas Eastern Golf Tournament-2026' organized by the Koshi Province Golf Association and held in partnership with Chivas Regal.
Jitendra Rai won the title in the gross category after performing well in the competition held at the Dharan Golf Course on Friday and Saturday. Padam Hang Limbu was the runner-up in the gross category.
Similarly, in the net category, Som Gurung came first, Bhuwan Ghimire came second and Pratap Jung Thapa came third.
Samjhana Khatri won the title in the gross category for women, while Janvi Gurung came first in the net category. Bina Sapkota came second in the net category for women.
Similarly, in the senior category of the competition, Ganesh Jimmy became the winner while Tulsiram Limbu became the runner-up.
Siddhant Sapkota came first, Ashok Singh came second and Shyam Limbu came third in the handicap competition from holes 1 to 8. Similarly, in the handicap category, Krishna Pun came first in holes 9 to 16, while Hiran Pradhan came second and Shyam Tamang came third.
In the special category of the competition, Pradeep Sarada, Nearest to the Pin Dipendra Rai, Deepak Magar, and Ram Tamang won the Longest Drive, Nearest to the Pin, and Straight to the Line awards.
The winners of the competition were awarded prizes at an award ceremony organized at Hotel Ramada in Itahari by Koshi Province Golf Association President Suyesh Pyakurel and Chivas Regal Country Manager Saurabh Bhattarai.
