Pushpa Sherma Limbu from Panchthar has won the title of the seventh edition of the Gurkha Trail Blazer held in Hong Kong.

Pushpa won the title by covering the 12-kilometer distance in 1 hour and 2 minutes. Runner Sherma is also a district member of the Panchthar District Athletics Association.

Similarly, Saroj Limbu of Tehrathum won the men's title. He managed to win the title in 47 minutes, breaking the record set by a Hong Kong runner last year, who covered the distance in 57 minutes.

Gorkha Samishtridge Trust Nepal has started inviting athletes to participate in the Gorkha Trail Blazer to be held in Hong Kong from this year. Pushpa and Saroj won the 12-kilometer distance title in their first year of participation. More than 400 runners from 27 countries participated in the competition.
