BCC defeated by CEC

Bhaktapur Cricket Excellence Center (CEC) defeated Bhaktapur Cricket Center (BCC) by 145 runs in the Prime Minister's Cup Bhaktapur District Selection Cricket on Saturday. CEC registered its first victory in its third match.

CEC, who won the toss and batted at the Lower Mulpani Cricket Ground, were all out for 236 in 46.4 overs. Inzamam-ul-Haq scored 61 runs. He hit 7 fours and 1 six in 103 balls. Captain Shivam Tiwari scored 49 in 35 balls with 3 fours and a six, Pawan Raj Sigdel scored 42 in 48 balls with 4 fours, opener Shrijal Dhami scored 39 in 38 balls with 7 fours and Robin Bhatt scored 14 runs.

BCC's Krishna Malasi scored 49 in 8.4 overs and captain Binod Tamang took 3 wickets each at the cost of 52 runs in 10 overs. Borga Guragain took 2 wickets at the cost of 33 runs in 5 overs and Vishal Sah Kanu and Lokesh Singh Pal took 1 wicket each.

In reply, BCC were bowled out for 91 in 20.3 overs, their second defeat in three matches. Priyanshu Jha scored 22 off 27 balls with 3 fours and Rajbir Shrestha scored 14 off 45 balls. CEC's Ankit Joshi and captain Shivam took 3 wickets each for just 4 runs. Hark Rokaya, Ashish Adhikari and Yogendra Khadka took 1 wicket each.
