The third University Sports Competition, organized by the National Sports Council (NSC) and co-organized by Kathmandu University and Nepalaya International, is scheduled to be held on Magh 22.
Kamal Bahadur Bhattarai, a member of the NSC Executive Committee and the coordinator of the University Sports Competition Operation and Management Committee, and Gokul KC, the acting director of the Student Welfare Directorate under Kathmandu University, exchanged letters of agreement.
There will be 5 games in the competition. 4 in table tennis, 4 in badminton, 2 in basketball, 6 in athletics and 1 in volleyball, according to Min Kumar Sharma, secretary of the committee and head of the Sports Competition and Planning Department. Only the students will compete in volleyball.
According to Sharma, 279 players will participate in the competition. The two-day competition will be played at the premises of Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel.
