Bhaktapur Municipal Cricket Association (BMC) defeated Bhaktapur Cricket Excellence Center (CEC) by 4 wickets in the Prime Minister's Cup district qualifiers on Thursday.
While BMC won the first match, CEC lost the second match in a row. CEC, who won the toss, were all out for 168 runs in 41.4 overs at the lower ground of Mulpani. In the second over, Pratap Karki dismissed Manish Bhandari to dominate BMC.
Another opener, Karan SK, could only score 4 runs. Pawan Raj Sigdel was out for zero, Sirjal Dhami was out for 9 runs. Captain Shivam Tiwari scored the highest 68 runs.
He hit 6 fours and 1 six in 62 balls. Inzamul Haque scored 13, Dinesh Singh Kunwar and Ashish Adhikari scored 12 runs each, and Aresh Kunwar was out for 11 runs. CEC's Sandeshjung Karki took 3 wickets for 24 runs, while Sagar Ghimire and Bhupendra Acharya took 2 wickets each.

Another opener and captain Saurabh Sakkarmi scored 20 runs in 21 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Satyam Shah scored 17 runs in 55 balls, Mahesh Bohara scored 16 runs in 18 balls. Active remained unbeaten on 19 runs with 2 fours and 1 six. BMC's Hark took 2 wickets, Yogendra Khadka, Shivam and Ankit Joshi took 1 wicket each.
