Wadorio Karate Team to India

An eight-member Nepali Badorio Karate team, including six players, is set to leave for Visakhapatnam, India, on Thursday to participate in the ninth International Karate Competition.

Raju Budhathoki will compete in the men's 65 kg category, Bishan Thapa Magar in 55 kg, Rijan Budha Magar in 45 kg and Shishir Thapa in 30 kg in the competition to be held from January 30 to February 1.

Diya Pahari will participate in the women's 60 kg category and Shweta Tara Gurung in 45 kg. Nepal Badorio Karate Do Association President and Chief Coach Harisharan KC will be the official and Sagar Kafle will be the judge.

Wishing the team success, National Sports Council Member-Secretary Ramcharitra Mehta bid farewell on Wednesday.
