Kummayak Kusai received Rs. 3 lakh 2 thousand 82 along with a trophy, medal and certificate, while the runner-up Satibhai had to settle for Rs. 1 lakh 52 thousand 82.

Kusayak Youth Club, located in Kumayak Rural Municipality, Panchthar, has won the first Lingatep Gold Cup. Kumayak Kusayak won the title by defeating Sathibhai Youth Club, Phungling Taplejung, by a margin of 4-2 goals in the final match held on Tuesday.

 Kummayak Kusaikle received 302,082 rupees along with a trophy, medal and certificate, while the runner-up Satibhai had to settle for 152,082 rupees.  In the final match, Satibhai took the early lead through a goal by Jamin Laxam.

Laxam put Kusaikle under pressure by scoring goals in the 10th and 18th minutes of the game. But Kusaikle, who returned to the game in the second half, won a dramatic victory. Lokendra Thapa scored a consolation goal in the 49th minute, while Semseng Lawati tied the game with a second goal in the 58th minute.

After Sushil Limbu scored the third goal in the 60th minute, Kusaikle increased its lead, and Sushil Lawati scored the fourth goal in the 82nd minute to end the match with Satibhai 4-2. The competition was organized by the Progressive Youth Club, Lingtep, on the occasion of the Shree Panchami (Basant Panchami) fair.
