In the junior boys' category, Gyanbhumi defeated Newton 22-16 and Himshila defeated BMCA 21-20. Gyanbhumi's Janish Bhusal scored 7 and Himshila's Raymond Karki scored 6.
In the quarterfinals, Gyanbhumi and Bhakti, Angels Heart and Himshila, JB and Golden Peak, and Ferryland and BNA will compete.
In the junior girls' category, the hosts Ferryland School 'B' defeated NCCS 25-17, Valley Public defeated St. Joseph 23-18, BNA defeated Manjari 18-15, and Canvas Vasant Ritu defeated Bhakti 23-21 to secure their place in the quarterfinals.
