The title race has opened up after Manchester United defeated Arsenal 3-2 in the English Premier League on Sunday. It was also Arsenal's first home defeat of the season.

Matthijs Cunha scored the decisive goal for United in the 87th minute. The result limited Arsenal's lead at the top to four points. They have 50 points. Manchester City and Aston Villa are behind them on 46 points.

Villa had previously beaten Newcastle United 2-0. Similarly, Chelsea had won 3-1 over Crystal Palace. United themselves have reached fourth place with 38 points.
