Parbat District Volleyball Association and Police emerged victorious in the men's category, while New Diamond and Thailand Queens emerged victorious in the women's category in the ongoing 6th Tiger Cup National and International Invitational Club Volleyball Championship in Pokhara on Sunday.

Parbat District Volleyball Association registered its second consecutive win in the men's category. On Sunday, Parbat defeated the Armed Police Force (APF) 3-1 in the ongoing competition at the Pokhara Stadium Volleyball Court. Parbat, who took the field with three Pakistani players and Tip Top Help Nepal players, won the first set 25-18. The second set was handed over to APF 21-25. Parbat secured the victory by winning the next two sets. Parbat won the third set 25-19 and the fourth set 25-15.

Earlier, Parbat had defeated Nepal Police Club in the fifth set in its first match. APF, on the other hand, had made a happy start by defeating Gandaki Province 3-1 in the first match.

In the women's team, the visiting team Thailand Queens made a comeback. In Sunday's match, Thailand Queens defeated Nepal Police Club in the fifth set. Thailand, which lost the first two sets, made a great comeback in the last three sets and managed to register a victory. Police won the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-20. However, Police could not hold their own in the subsequent sets. Thailand won the third set 25-23, the fourth set 25-14 and the fifth set 16-14.

Organized by Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal, the championship, which will last until 17 Magh, has 6 teams in the men's category and 5 teams in the women's category. The top two teams in the single round-robin competition will compete for the title.
