Rupesh Karki of APF Club has won the 4-kilometer race organized on the occasion of the 74th International Customs Day. Rupesh came first, covering the distance in 15.31 minutes.
Rajiv Kumar Nepal of Tribhuvan Army Club finished second in 18.20 minutes, while Sanjeev Majhi of Nepal Army finished third in 18.22 minutes.
In the women's category, Laxmi Khadka of Army finished first in 22.29 minutes, Tara Kumari Giri of APF finished second in 23.25 minutes, and Rita Khadka finished third in 25.02 minutes.
The race ended after reaching the Tribhuvan University Customs Office via the Customs Department Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar, Baneshwor, Tinkune. There were 150 competitors, including those from the Army, Armed Forces, Customs Employees, Customs Agents, Nepal Freight Forwarders Association, Nepal Customs Agents Association Kathmandu, Nepal Export Council Thamel, and Nepal Courier Service Association Kathmandu.
Cash prizes and certificates will be distributed to the winners on the occasion of International Customs Day on Magh 12 at the Tribhuvan University Customs Office, informed Homanath Dhamala, President of the Nepal Customs Agents Association, Kathmandu. First to third place winners will receive 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000 respectively.
