Machhindra's third win in the National League

In the other match on Saturday, Tribhuvan Army managed to secure an impressive 5-1 win over Chitlang FC. The Army finished in third place.

Machhindra's third win in the National League

Machindra FC registered their third consecutive win in the National League on Saturday. Along with Laligurans, Machindra has collected 9 points from their first three matches.

Among them, Laligurans is at the top of the table on goal difference. In the other match on Saturday, Tribhuvan Army managed to score an impressive 5-1 win over Chitlang FC. Army finished third.  

Machhindra defeated Planning Boys 2-0 in the first match at Dasharath Stadium. After Saurabh Limbu scored the first goal in the 41st minute, Jonathan Eduardo added the second goal in the 74th minute. This was the first defeat for Planning Boys in this league. Planning was limited to 4 points.

In the second match, Chitlang took the lead in the 26th minute with the help of Matthew Babatunde's goal. Chitlang could not maintain it and Army made a great comeback. Dinesh Hemjan scored two goals for Army. He scored in the 40th and 82nd minutes. After Hemjan's first goal tied the game, Nawayug Shrestha scored the second goal for Army and gave Army the lead for the first time. Naveen Lama scored the third goal in the 63rd minute. The last possible goal in the 85th minute of the game was an own goal. This goal was scored by Narendra Chaudhary.
