Playing for Kankalini Saptari, he played an incredible innings against Lohjara Saptari at the Public Bindeshwari Secondary School ground in Rajbiraj Municipality-5. Opening batsman, he hit 38 fours and 12 sixes in 175 balls.
With the help of his excellent batting, Kankalini scored 394 runs before being all out in 47 overs. Apart from Amit, Mahanand Yadav scored 25 and Gopal Mandal added 19 runs. For Lohjara, Ritik Yadav took 3, Abhishek Karki took 2, Abhimanyu Sardar and Parmanand Yadav took 1-1 wickets.
In reply, Lohjara was all out for 182 runs in 35.1 overs. Sachin Yadav scored 44, Mohammad Sajid Ali scored 41, Abhishek Karki scored 31 and Basant Yadav scored 17. Aditya Kumar Sah scored 4, Sanjeev Mandal took 2, Mohammad Sohil and Gopal Mandal took 1-1 wickets.
