Tedha Tigers secured their place in the finals by defeating Harpatganj Youth Kings by a wide margin of 119 runs in the first semi-final of the Gadhimai Premier League T20 cricket tournament held in Harpatganj, Birgunj on Wednesday.
Batting first after winning the toss, Tedha Tigers made a huge total of 185 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Lokesh Patel and Dilip Singh contributed 45 and 29 runs respectively.
Harpatganj Youth Kings bowlers Ram Pravesh Mandal took three wickets and Sanjeev Yadav took two wickets. Harpatganj Youth Kings, who came out to bat in reply, looked helpless in front of Tedha Tigers bowlers. All Harpatganj players were dismissed for only 66 runs in 16 overs and 4 balls. Their Arif Sheikh contributed the most with 21 and Abhishek Singh with 13 runs.
