International medalist Uma Kung Fu athlete Sarina Ghale has been honored with cash by the Ghale Society UK.

Gorkha activist Pushpa Rana Ghale and society president Bishnu Bahadur Ghale honored Sarina with a certificate of appreciation along with 400 pounds in the UK on the occasion of the Lhochhar festival.

According to Nepal Uma Kung Fu Association president Sanjit Kumar Rai, Sarina had won gold in two international competitions held in the UK. Sarina won gold in the WMAC British Open Championship  and the WMAC English Championship.

Earlier, Sarina has also been honored by Tamudhin Samaj UK, Magar Association UK, Dhading-Nuwakot Samaj UK and NRNA UK. Sarina, a third dan of Nuwakot Kispang Rural Municipality-1, is studying in the UK.
