The Bagmati Province-level Inter-City Open Men's Mahakal Volleyball Championship is scheduled to be held in the first week of Falgun.
The competition will be held from Falgun 6 to 10 with the support of Lalitpur Mahakal Rural Municipality and organized by Mahakal Club. All the matches of the competition will be held at the Baghbhairav Technical Secondary School ground in Mahakal Ward 4.
The winner will receive Rs 150,055, the runner-up Rs 75,555 and the third place winner Rs 35,555. It is expected that 20 to 50 teams will participate in the competition. Each team will have 10 players.
Each team will be allowed to include two players who have played for the national team. Mahakal Volleyball Club captain Darje Tamang said that the organizer's team will be selected through open selection. The open selection will be held from Magh 16 to 18.
