Nepali athletes have won two gold and three silver medals at the India Cup Natural Strong Powerlifting Competition held in Sonipat, India.

Team leader and player Gyanendra Nakarmi reported from Delhi that in the competition held from January 16 to 18, Bikash Pradhan won 1 gold and 2 silver medals in the Masters 4 category and Rojin Nakarmi won a silver medal in the 75 kg senior category. Gyanendra Nakarmi had won gold in the Masters 5 category. Gyanendra and Rojin are father and son.

A 5-member Nepali team led by Gyanendra participated at the invitation of the Powerlifting Association of India.
