The Nepali karate team will leave for Istanbul on Tuesday with her. The team will be accompanied by national team head coach Kushal Shrestha and international referee Tara Gurung.

Erika, who won a historic silver medal at the 19th Asian Games, will compete in the women's 68 kg weight category of kumite. Coach Shrestha said that her participation in the Premier League, which will feature top world-class players, is seen as an important opportunity for Nepali karate.
