Purveli Super Kings spent the most money on player signings in the third edition of the Koshi Pride League (KPL) auction.

Purveli spent the most money when seven different franchise teams signed 12 players at the auction for the tournament to be held at the Dr. Khalil Azad Stadium in Bhokrahan Singh, Sunsari from Falgun 9 to 21.

Purveli of Biratnagar spent Rs. 418,000 for 12 different players from the auction that lasted until midnight on Saturday in Itahari. Gorkha Avengers of Kathmandu spent Rs. 400,000. While Birtamod Hides spent Rs. 368,000, Itahari Adarsh ​​Giants spent Rs. 364,000, Kathmandu's Everest Thunders spent Rs. 340,000, Itahari's Namuna Blastard spent Rs. 320,000 and Bhokrahan Singh Koshi Arnaz spent the least at Rs. 250,000.

In the auction, each team signed 3 to 6 players from the draft, including one marquee and one iconic. Out of 232 players included in the auction, 84 have been sold. There were 34 in Category 'A', 95 in Category 'B' and 103 in Category 'C'.

In the auction, the minimum price for Category 'A' was set at Rs 45,000 to Rs 65,000, for Category 'B' at Rs 25,000 to Rs 45,000 and for Category 'C' at Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000. The team has the facility to spend the amount as per its requirement while bringing in players from the draft.

Everest Thunders, owned by Akash Khadka, has signed Narayan Joshi, Akash Tripathi, Dipendra Rawat, Roshan Bishwakarma, Pujan BK, Salahuddin Khan, Sahil Patel, Prajwal Thapa, Lokesh Joshi, Bhola Kumar Shah, Shivam Tiwari and Ravindra Mandal from the auction.

Everest has brought in national team players Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Yubaraj Khatri and Ranjit Kumar from the draft. Former champions Namuna Blasters, owned by Namuna College principal Dharma Neupane, have taken in national team players Nandan Yadav, Gaurav Katwal and Prakash Karki from the draft.
