Three names have been recommended for the post of Member-Secretary of the Karnali Province Sports Development Council. In an interview conducted by the Member-Secretary Selection Committee on Saturday, the names of Rabindra Chand of Birendranagar-7, Surkhet, Deepak Hamal of Bheriganga Municipality-4, Surkhet, and Pramod Hamal of Birendranagar-5 were recommended.
The committee has given 67.17 marks to Rabindra, 60.63 to Deepak and 52.37 marks to Pramod.
Out of the 10 applications submitted by the candidates, three have been recommended to the Ministry of Social Development as they meet the eligibility criteria as per Section 7 of the Karnali Development Sports Council Member-Secretary Selection Criteria 2082, the committee has stated.
The selection committee, coordinated by the Ministry's Secretary Dholak Raj Dhakal, included Jaharlal Hamal as Member-Secretary, Nanda Basyal and Ganesh Bahadur Karki as members. The names sent by the committee will be submitted to the Council of Ministers meeting. The Council of Ministers meeting will appoint one person as Member-Secretary.
