Sekaha Community Development Club has won the title of the third Tinpokhari Cup football tournament held at Khandbari Stadium on Thursday.

In an exciting and thrilling final match, Sekaha defeated Makalu Friends Club by a 2-1 goal margin to win the title.

Makalu Friends played an aggressive game from the start of the match and took the lead in the 7th minute through a goal by Jeevan Maske Magar. But that lead did not last long. In the 8th minute of the match, Makalu defender Roshan Acharya scored an own goal while clearing the ball in the D-area, and the match was tied 1-1.

After the tie, both teams attacked continuously for the win. In the 25th minute of the competitive match, Sekaha's Anish Ardi scored the decisive goal to give the team the lead. After that, Makalu tried to equalize, but the score could not change as Sekaha's defense remained strong. Krishna Rai of Sekaha was declared the 'Best Player' for his excellent performance.

Eight teams from eastern Nepal, including the host Sankhuwasabha, participated in the competition. The winner, Sekaha Community Development Club, received a cash prize of 251,000 rupees along with the title. The runner-up, Makalu Friends Club, settled for 121,000 rupees.

The final match, held at Khandbari Stadium in the presence of a large number of spectators, has made the Tinpokhari Cup even more prestigious, according to the host, Tinpokhari Club.
