The Flash Sports National Junior Tennis Tournament, organized by Flash Tennis Academy, has begun in Budhanilkantha from Thursday.

On Thursday, Aaravsamrat Hada, Ranish Shrestha, Sujan Kuinkel, Prarathya Rijal, Surendra BK, Sandeep BK and Bishwabishe Dallakoti achieved success in the U-16 boys' singles.

Shubham Shrestha, Viral Agarwal, Ahan Bhattarai, Ayan Pant and Ashton Shrestha achieved victory in the U-12 boys' singles. Sara Pant, Thea Shrestha, Amyra Gupta, Naira Ghale, Arya Poudel, Nimti Kunwar, Kunsel Tamang and Tabhishi Rana won in the girls' singles.

Subigyaraj Budhathoki, Bidhibhattachan, Bhansil Agarwal and Ridan Shrestha won in the U-9 boys' singles and entered the next round.  Swarnima Shrestha, Benafsa Maharjan, Bhani Rajbhandari and Anaya Shrestha achieved success in the girls' singles.

The tournament, inaugurated by Nepal Tennis Association President Manohardas Mul, saw the participation of 147 players in 15 different events, said Shravan Karki, the director of the organizing academy.
