Rupandehi-11 has won the Test, One-Day and T20 series against Tribhuvan Army Club 'A' under the 'Pawan Kumar Sethia Memorial Cricket' organized by the Rupandehi Cricket Association in Bhairahawa.

Rupandehi won the second T-20 match on Wednesday and clinched the series. 

Rupandehi defeated Army by 6 wickets on Wednesday. In the first match on Tuesday, Rupandehi had won by 26 runs. Chasing a target of 119 runs for victory at the Siddhartha Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi secured the victory by losing 4 wickets in 17 overs.

For Rupandehi, Akash Tripathi contributed an unbeaten 39, Sandeep Maurya 24, Arif Khan 18, Sandeep Rajali 15 and Vijay Prajapati 12 not out.

Army's Jitendra Singh Thakuri and Prem Gurung took 2 wickets each in the bowling. Earlier, Army, which had won the toss and batted, had lost all their wickets and posted a modest total of 118 runs. Nirmal Shahi scored 40, Laxman Pariyar 21, Pradeep Pella 20 and Jitendra Singh Thakuri scored 10 runs. 

In bowling, Rupandehi's Bishnu Katariya, Akash Tripathi and Iklakh Ahmed Waris took 2 wickets each. The final match of the T-20 series will be played on Thursday, informed tournament coordinator Pratham Parajuli.
