Hosts KMC, The Chandbagh and Chelsea World School reached the senior girls' semi-finals of the 5th KMC Inter-School Basketball Tournament on Wednesday.

On home court, KMC defeated Himali by a score of 15-9. KMC's Aakrisha Ghimire added 12 points. Chandbagh defeated Golden Flower by 24-14. Winner Amaulika Khadka scored 15 points.

Defending champion Ribs lost to Chelsea by 28-24. Chelsea will meet KMC in the semi-finals, while Chandbagh will face Ribs.

The quarter-final equation has been completed in senior boys and junior boys. In the senior boys' quarter-finals, Baladiksha Sadan and Sewa Sadan, Marvelous and host KMC 'B', VS Niketan and Kathmandu Xaviers Public, and Golden Peak and Milestone will compete.

In the quarterfinals of the junior boys' competition, Eden Bridge Academy (EBA) will face Golden Flower, Golden Peak will face Manank Children, Green Lawns will face Himali and Greenfield will face Sunshine. The quarterfinals of the senior/junior boys' competition will be held on Thursday.
