Shubhang Pradhan of Rato Bangla has won his second consecutive match in the Himalayan Challengers FIDE Rating Classical Chess.
He defeated Abhik Regmi on Monday. 8-year-old Shubhanga is the youngest player to have achieved FIDE ratings in all three chess disciplines - classical, rapid and blitz.
Rated 1491, he won against Abhik of Siddhartha Banasthali. Along with him, top-ranked Abhik Shah, Sajal Neupane, Satwikman Tuladhar, Hardik Pant, Leon Maharjan and Nihana Shrestha also won.
They have won two consecutive games. All scored 6 points each.
