Chulachuli Sporting Club Jhapa has entered the semi-finals of the third edition of the Tinpokhari Cup football tournament underway in Khandbari, Sankhuwasabha.

In a competitive match held at Khandbari Stadium on Sunday, Chulachuli defeated home team Khandbari Youth Club 1-0 to book their place in the last four. Pramod Darji scored the decisive goal for Chulachuli in the 25th minute of the first half.

In another match held on Sunday, Sekaha Community Club Sankhuwasabha secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating Belka Sporting Club Udayapur 3-0.

Krishna Rai gave Sekaha the lead in the 5th minute of the match. Then Dhruv Subba added two goals in the 8th and 15th minutes to ensure the team's victory.

Eight teams from eastern Nepal, including Sankhuwasabha, are participating in the competition. The winning team of the competition will receive Rs 251,000 in cash and the runner-up team will receive Rs 121,000.
