Rasila Maharjan of Tribhuvan Army Club has become the consecutive champion in the fourth Lalitpur Mayor's Cup National Badminton Tournament.

In the final, she defeated Shesna Sirpali of her own club in the fourth set. She won in 2-1 sets. Rasila, who was behind 20-22 in the first set, came back and won the second set 21-15 and the third set 21-9.

In the Master Doubles Over 45 competition, the pair of Sanjay Kapali and Anil Thamsuhang of Peace Fitness Club defeated the pair of Angkusang Sherpa and Lakpa Sherpa of Unity Badminton 17-21, 21-17, 22-20 to win the title.

The pair of Shanta Dangol and Gyanu Kumal of Balkumari Remix and the pair of Achyut Basnet and Mahesh Bhattarai of Koteshwor came joint third. The winners received Rs 30,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 7,500. The winners were awarded prizes by the main sponsor, Lalitpur Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya Bajracharya and others.
