Karnali's first team, Kankre Bihar Club, is participating in the National Football League.

Kankre Bihar Club Surkhet from Karnali Province is set to participate in the National League Football Tournament to be held in Kathmandu.

Karnali Province Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari, Birendranagar Municipality Deputy Mayor Nilakantha Khanal and other public representatives have bid farewell to the players participating in the competition organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) starting from Poush 30.

The opening match of the competition will be between Kankre Bihar Youth Club and Friends Club on Poush 30. The match will be held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

A total of 17 teams, including 13 teams from the A Division and 4 teams from the ANFA President's League, will participate in the national football league. Arrangements have also been made to award the winner of the competition with a cash prize of Rs 5 million.

Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari said that Kankre Bihar Club has started a new chapter in the sports history of Karnali.
