In the final of the tournament being held at the host ward 6 in Kanibahal, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Mamta defeated Sarila Shakya of ward 11 in sets of 4-11, 11-7, 12-10, 10-12 and 11-9.
In the veteran men's team, ward 16 defeated ward 20 3-2 to win first place. Ward 16 secured the title by winning 3 singles out of five singles matches. Raju Shakya of ward 16 won 2 singles and Rajendra Shrestha won 1 singles. Rajiv Maharjan and Sanjay Shakya of ward 20 won 1 singles each.
