A skate hub has been launched at the Nepal Sports Center in Chyasal since Thursday.
Skating has been developing and expanding as a popular sport in Nepal in recent times. There are more than 50 skate centers in the Kathmandu Valley alone. Skateboarding has been included in the recent Tokyo and Paris Olympics.
Nepal Sports Center has been run by former Nepali football players Rajukaji Shakya, Surendra Shrestha and Dinesh Byanjanakar for the past 10 years. A skate hub has also been launched on the occasion of the New Year 2026.
