Prabhat Secondary Boarding School, Dharan, has entered the finals of the Koshi Provincial Level Inter-School DIGP Running Cup Football Competition.
In the second semi-final match held at the Nepal Police Provincial Office Dharan football ground on Thursday, Prabhat Boarding School defeated Pinnacle Gyan Mandir Kanepokhari Morang by a wide margin of 4-0 and set itself a journey to the final.
Prabhat School's Bhuwan Bhandari scored the first goal in the 7th minute of the first half of the match, giving the team the lead. Then, captain Nemsang Magar scored two goals through penalties in the 20th and 29th minutes of the first half, making the score 3-0.
Bhuwan Bhandari added another goal in the 22nd minute of the second half, giving Prabhat School an easy 4-0 victory. Although Pinnacle Gyan Mandir created some opportunities in the game, they could not convert them into goals.
Prabhat Secondary English Boarding School's Nemsang Magar was declared the best player of the tournament. He was presented with a cash prize of Rs 1,005 by the special guest Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Itahari, Superintendent of Police Deepak Giri.
