The host team, Nepal Police School (Red), has entered the finals in the first semi-final match of the seventh edition of the Koshi Provincial Level Inter-School DIGP Running Cup Football Tournament.

Nepal Police School defeated Siddharth Secondary School 3-0 in the semi-final match held at the Nepal Police Provincial Office, Dharan on Wednesday and moved closer to the title.

Nepal Police performed impressively in the second half of the match, scoring three decisive goals. Biplav Thapa scored the first goal in the 21st minute, giving the team the lead. Then, Sameer Rai and Bikash Magar added one goal each in the 35th minute and 36th minute. Siddharth Secondary School tried to return the goal throughout the match, but failed. Bikash Magar of Nepal Police was named the 'Man of the Match' of the match.

The winner of the competition will receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 81,05, while the runner-up will receive Rs 41,05, along with a trophy. In the second semi-final match to be held on Thursday, Prabhat Secondary Boarding School Dharan and Pinnacle Gyan Mandir Sundarharaincha, Morang will compete.
