Langdidevi Nalma has entered the quarterfinals of the 33rd edition of the Triveni Cup football tournament underway in Besisahar, Lamjung.

Langdidevi Nalma defeated Chitlang Football Club Kathmandu 1-0 in a match held at the Sahaji Stadium on Tuesday and set their journey to the last eight.

Foreign player Richard Wilson Edge became the hero for Langdidevi Nalma against Chitlang Football Club, which has already qualified for the national league. His goal in the 41st minute of the second half was the decisive one.

With this victory, Langdidevi Nalma has become the sixth team to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament. They will have to compete with New Road Team (NRT) to make it to the semifinals.

Richard Wilson Edge, who scored the decisive goal in the match, was declared the man of the match and received a prize of Rs 10,000.

According to the organizers, only one match was held as Tamu Lhosar and Sanj Triveni Sanj and Sadak Mahotsav will be organized on Tuesday.
