Pokhara's Majestic Lake Front will be the official hotel for the 22nd edition of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards to be held on December 11.
The Nepal Sports Journalists Forum has announced that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Majestic Lake Front in Pokhara Lakeside to arrange accommodation for players, coaches, sports officials and guests attending the award program, which is being held for the first time outside Kathmandu.
The agreement was signed by Nepal Sports Journalists Forum President Niranjan Adhikari and Majestic Lake Front President Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai. As per the agreement, the main secretariat of the award will also be located at the Majestic Lake Front during the award ceremony.
Majestic President Bhattarai said that he was happy to collaborate with the prestigious award program of Nepali sports in Pokhara. He said, “It is a matter of pride to be associated with our hotel in the award ceremony held for the first time outside the capital. It is the responsibility of all Pokharelis to make this award a success.”
The forum has stated that preparations for the ‘NSJF Pulsar Sports Award’, which is the most important program in the Nepali sports sector, are in full swing.
This award is given based on the performance of the players in the previous year. Awards will be presented in 10 categories. The main sponsor of the award is Golchha Group, while Yeti Airlines has been added as a powered by. The promoter of the Sports Award is Pokhara Metropolitan City, while the voting partner is Khalti and the clothing partner is Kelmi Nepal.
The forum has stated that the digital voting for the People's Choice, which is a category in which the player is chosen as the winner through public vote, is also ongoing. The competition includes Vijay Sinjali (Wusu), Ivana Thapa (Table Tennis), Himal Sunari (Volleyball), Pooja Mahato (Cricket) and Rekha Poudel (Football).
