Prabhat Secondary English Boarding School, Biratnagar, and Pinnacle Gyan Mandir, Kanepokhari, Morang have entered the semi-finals in the match held on the seventh day of the 7th Koshi Provincial Level Inter-School DIGP Running Football Tournament.

In the first quarterfinal match held at the Nepal Police Provincial Office playground in Dharan on Tuesday, Delhi Public Secondary School Biratnagar and Prabhat Secondary English Boarding School Dharan faced a tough competition. After the match ended in a 2-2 draw in the stipulated time, the match went to a trybreaker. Prabhat Secondary won 4-3 in the trybreaker and secured a place in the semifinals.

In the first half of the match, Prabhat Secondary's Yosep Magar scored the first goal in the 9th minute to give the team the lead. Then Yuvahang Rai scored the second goal in the 27th minute. In the second half, Delhi Public's Aman Khawas scored one goal each in the 46th and 51st minutes to level the game.

In the trybreaker, Bhuwan Bhandari, Yuvahang Rai, Asim Rai and Nemsang Magar scored for Prabhat Secondary, while Prashant Urav's shot was missed. Aman Khawas, Adityaraj Mandal and Bidhan Karki scored for Delhi Public, while Pragyan Dhungana and Nikhil Bohara failed to score. The best player of the match was Prabhat Secondary's goalkeeper Simon Bista.

Similarly, in the second quarterfinal match, Pinnacle Gyan Mandir Kanepokhari, Morang and the host team Nepal Police School Dharan (Blue) competed. The match ended in a goalless draw in the stipulated time and went to the trybreaker, where Pinnacle Gyan Mandir won by a margin of 4-3 goals and entered the semifinals.

In the trybreaker, Sandeep Magar, Asim Gurung, Laxman Tamang and Sakshamraj Thapa of Pinnacle Gyan Mandir scored goals while Nayom Lawati's shot was blocked. Johnesh Rai, Swarnim Yakha and Swapnil Yakha scored goals while Ujjwal Ghatani and Yarin Bhujel's shot was blocked. The best player of the match was Nayom Lawati of Pinnacle Gyan Mandir.

With all the quarterfinal matches completed, the first semifinal of the tournament will be held on Wednesday at 1 pm between Nepal Police School Dharan (Red) and Siddhartha Secondary School Sundarharaincha Morang.
