The 21st General Assembly of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) concluded on Monday.

In the general meeting chaired by President Jeevan Ram Shrestha, General Secretary Rajiv Shrestha presented the progress report on the international competitions and programs participated in 2025. Internal Auditor Rabin Bhusal presented the financial report for 2081/2082. Chief Accountant Rajan Shrestha, representing Treasurer Tasi Ghale, presented the annual budget for 2026. Executive Secretary Sujan Lal Shrestha informed about the programs to be held in 2026. Accordingly, there are four major international competitions in the coming year. The

competition is the Asian Games in Japan, the Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games in Saudi Arabia, the Youth Olympics in Senegal, and the Beach Games in China. Similarly, the Olympic Solidarity Course, Fun Run, Lumbini Peace Marathon, Sports Congress, Talent Hunt, International Olympic Day, and NOC Awards will also be organized.

On the same occasion, a proposal has been made to form the Prevention on Manipulation of Sports (PMC) under the coordination of former player and former Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Kiran Bajracharya. The general assembly has paid tribute to the martyrs of the Gen-G movement and welcomed the decision of the National Sports Council to participate in the Asian Games.

The general assembly has also requested to hand over the NOC office located in Satdobato to itself. The program passed the progress report of the general secretary, financial report, annual budget and the program for 2026. A total of 23 associations were present in the general assembly.
