Laligurans Youth Club, Bhujung, has entered the quarterfinals of the 33rd Triveni Cup football tournament underway in Lamjung by defeating 'A' Division club Satdobato Youth Club, Lalitpur.

Laligurans secured their place in the last eight by defeating Satdobato 2-1 in the match held at the Sahaji Sports Ground in Besisahar on Monday.

Anish Maharjan and foreign player Ajayi Martin Kayode scored one goal each in Laligurans' victory. Anish scored in the 42nd minute of the match to give Laligurans the lead. Satdobato's Aman Lama equalized in the second minute of the second half, but Ajayi scored the decisive goal in the 80th minute, ensuring Laligurans' journey to the quarterfinals.

Now, Laligurans will compete with the winner of the 'A' Division League champion Church Boys United and Buddha Youth Club Bhoteodar for a place in the semifinals. Foreign player Ajayi Martin Kayode was declared the man of the match in this match and received Rs 10,000.
