Approximately 5,000 coffee plants will be planted across the entire boundary of NPL.

Presidential Graduate College is planning to plant around 5,000 coffee plants, equivalent to the total boundary of the NPL (Nepal Premier League).

The college had earlier announced that it would plant 6 coffee seedlings, one for each six and 4 for each four. According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), 427 sixes and 607 fours were hit in the 2082 NPL. Accordingly, the college will plant a total of 4,990 seedlings, 2,562 for each six and 2,428 for each four.

'Coffee farming will help strengthen the local economy, create employment and further strengthen the college's collaboration with the rural community,' said college president Laxman KC. The college said that evaluation work is underway to identify suitable land.

The college had planted 1,100 varieties of seedlings in various places in the Kathmandu Valley last year. At that time, the rate of planting one seedling in every four and two seedlings in every six was fixed. It is also the education partner of the Presidential 'NPL 2082'.
