Home team Chitwan Cricket Club has lifted the Indo-Nepal T-20 Championship title with a thrilling victory over Nepal APF Club.

Chitwan District Cricket Association organized a thrilling 1-wicket victory over APF in the final match held on Sunday at the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur.

Chitwan received Rs 4 lakh in cash and a trophy, while APF received Rs 2 lakh in cash as the runner-up. Chitwan achieved the target of 144 runs with one ball to spare.

Chitwan needed 7 runs in the last over to win, but had 2 wickets in hand. Chitwan was under full pressure after Gautam KC was run out on the first ball of the last over. When 4 runs were needed on the last ball, Bipin Khatri hit Dinesh Adhikari for a six to give Chitwan a historic victory.

Chitwan came under pressure after losing Roshan Jha without opening the account on the fourth ball of the innings. Deepak Prasad Dumre and Shubh Kanskar made a crucial partnership of 95 runs for the second wicket, guiding Chitwan to victory. Shubh Kanskar scored 67 runs in 37 balls, hitting 5 sixes and 5 fours, while Deepak scored 37 runs with 3 sixes and a four. Chitwan's other batsmen could not touch double figures. APF's Irshad Ahmed took 5 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs, but could not help the team win. Abhishek Gautam and Diwan Pun took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, APF, who had lost the toss and batted first, scored 143 runs for the loss of 6 wickets with the help of Deepak Bohra's 47 runs. Deepak hit 2 sixes and 5 fours in 35 balls. Sumit Maharjan scored 28, Amarsingh Rautela scored 25 and Salahuddin Khan scored 22 runs. Deepak Bohara and Sumit Maharjan shared a 63-run partnership for the second wicket, but APF could not post a big score. Chitwan's Dipesh Kandel took 2 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs, while Bipin Khatri, Naresh Pradhan and Dipesh Shrestha took 1 wicket each. Shubh Kanskar, who hit a crucial half-century to help Chitwan win, was declared the Player of the Match. He received a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and other gifts. Tritraj Das of Tribhuvan Army Club was declared the Best Player of the Tournament. He performed as an all-rounder in the tournament, scoring 310 runs and taking 6 wickets. Das received a cash prize of Rs 15,000. Delhi Wonders' Mohammad Kaif and Chitwan Cricket Club's Dipesh Kandel were declared the Best Batsman and Best Bowler, respectively. Kaif scored 318 runs and Dipesh took 16 wickets. They received Rs 10,000 each. 

Army defeated Delhi in the third place match on Sunday itself. Batting first, Army scored 197 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.  Trit scored 73, Jitendra Singh Thakuri scored 37 and Durgesh Gupta scored 21 runs.  Delhi's Harshit Sethi took 4, Kaif 2 and Pradeep Yadav 1 wicket. 

Delhi scored 156 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, and Army won by 36 runs.  Harshit Sethi scored 67 runs.  Trit was declared the Player of the Match.  Army received a prize of Rs 100,000.  Bharatpur Metropolitan City Deputy Chief Chitrasen Adhikari, Chitwan Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal and Chitwan District Cricket Association Acting President Umesh Piya awarded the winning players.
