Organized by the Chitwan District Cricket Association, APF defeated India's Delhi Wonders Cricket Club by 125 runs and Chitwan defeated departmental team Tribhuvan Army Club by 7 wickets to reach the final at the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Bharatpur.
In the first semi-final, Deepak Bohara, Prajwal Shahi and captain Sumit Maharjan scored half-centuries as APF scored a huge total of 250 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Deepak scored 97 runs and was caught out by Harshit Sethi. He hit 9 sixes and 5 fours in 51 balls. Prajwal scored 75 runs with 6 sixes and 6 fours in 34 balls and Sumit scored 65 runs with 8 sixes and a four in 27 balls. Harshit took 3 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs, while Vivek Dhami took one wicket.
In reply, Delhi were all out for 125 runs in 15.4 overs. Vishal Pandey's unbeaten 40 runs was the big score. He hit 4 sixes and 3 fours in 33 balls. Ankur Kaushik scored 25 and Mohammad Kaif scored 19 runs. Abhishek Gautam took 5 wickets including a hat-trick to bowl out Delhi cheaply. He cost 17 runs in 4 overs. He completed his hat-trick in the seventh over by taking the wickets of reliable batters Mohammad Kaif, Dushyant Raghav and Nishant Yadav. Dinesh Adhikari took 2 wickets, Bhuwan Karki and Salahuddin Khan took 1 wicket each. APF's Deepak Bohra was named Player of the Match.
In the other semi-final, the home team Chitwan achieved the target of 140 runs in 13.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Deepak Prasad Dumre scored an unbeaten 58 runs in 35 balls. Shubha Kanshaskar contributed 26, Sandeep KC 25 not out and Roshan Jha 24 runs. Army's Durgesh Gupta took 2 wickets for the loss of 33 runs. Naren Saud had one wicket. Earlier, Army, which won the toss, scored 139 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Tritaraj Das scored 49 runs in 40 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 5 fours. He was caught out by Gautam KC and missed out on a half-century. Pawan Karki added 24 runs.
Chitwan's Dipesh Shrestha took 3 wickets for 33 runs, while Naresh Pradhan took 2 wickets, Bipin Khatri, Dipesh Kandel and Gautam KC took 1 wicket each. Chitwan's Deepak Dumre was named Player of the Match.
