Tribhuvan Army Club has won the Li-Ning Basketball Tournament. The Army defeated Solo Basketball Club by a score of 108-77 in the final of the tournament organized by the Nepal Basketball Association (NEBA) at Dunkmandu, Boudha on Saturday.
Twelve teams participated in the competition, which was a qualifier for the Himalayan Java National Basketball League (HJBL). Four teams were selected for the league from this competition. Royal Sports Central and Play Box Arena, which reached the semifinals along with Army and Solo, were selected for the second season of the league. The four qualifying teams and the top four in the first edition of the HJBL, namely the defending champion Times, runners-up Golden Gate, Hounds and Kirtipur, are competing in the second edition.
