Omoda and Dzeko presented a car to Nepali national team captain Rohit Poudel on Friday. Under Rohit's captaincy, Lumbini Lions won the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket title two weeks ago.

Rohit was the best player in the NPL for Nepali players. SPG Automobiles, the official dealer of Omoda and Zeco for Nepal, had signed an agreement with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) to provide cars to the best Nepali players in the NPL. Rohit was given an Omoda and Zeco car as the ‘electrifying player of the tournament’.

On the same occasion, Omoda and Zeco have also made Rohit a ‘brand ambassador’ for 3 years. Rohit said that he felt truly honored for this. He was welcomed by Gaurav Sharda, director of SPG Automobiles. Sharda said that he felt proud to sign Nepal’s best players to Omoda and Zeco. Rohit was given a Zeco J5 electric car. Its market value is over 6 million rupees.

‘If someone had said that cricket players would get cars two years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it. But today, cricket players are getting cars by playing,’ Rohit said at the car handover ceremony on Friday. ‘The way Lumbini played in the NPL was unbelievable. We won the title after it was difficult to reach the playoffs despite being at the bottom of the points table. All the players have contributed equally to this.’

Last year, in the first season of the NPL, Sudurpaschim Royals captain Deependra Singh Airi received this award. Dipendra said that his goal is to make Sudurpaschim the champion next year.
