Delhi Public Secondary School, Biratnagar and Prabhat Secondary English Boarding School, Dharan have entered the quarterfinals in two matches held on the third day of the seventh edition of the provincial-level inter-school DIGP Cup football tournament.

In the first match held at the Nepal Police Provincial Office, Dharan, on Friday, Delhi Public Secondary School Biratnagar defeated Valmiki Education Foundation Birtamod, Jhapa by 1-0 goals to advance to the quarterfinals. Aman Khawas's goal in the 20th minute of the first half of the match was decisive. Aman Khawas has been declared the best player of the match.

Similarly, in the second match, Prabhat Secondary English Boarding School Dharan defeated Sainik Residential College Dharan by 2-0 goals to enter the quarterfinals. Bhuvan Bhandari of Prabhat School scored the first goal in the 15th minute of the first half of the match and added the second goal in the first minute of injury time. 16 schools from Koshi Province are participating in the competition. The winner of the competition will receive a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 81,05 and the runner-up will receive Rs. 41,05 along with a trophy.
